Staff Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the Treasury web page. My name is Julie Ellison, and I currently serve as your Township Treasurer. My service with Frenchtown Charter Township began in 2010 in a clerical position for the Building Department, In 2013 I began working for the Supervisor. I held this position until November of 2016 at which time I became your Treasurer. I will be taking the first of three courses this April to become a Michigan Certified Professional Treasurer. After achieving this certification I will then focus on becoming a Certified Public Finance Administrator, all of which to better serve the residents of Frenchtown Charter Township.

The Treasury staff consists of:

Lexi Ellison, Deputy Treasurer – Lexi has been employed with us since 1/2022

Shelley Desrosiers, Office Support – Shelley’s has been employed with us since 12/2016. 

Lori Caswell, Utility Billing Agent – Lori’s fulltime employment began in 06/2003 as Office Support. She took over the Utility Billing Agent duties December of 2016.
